He was 12. Tribble, who was 14, died 2 months later. I know it probably sounds stupid, but I think he just kinda gave up after Monkey was gone. [img]frown.gif[/img]

Thats actually pretty common for animals around the same age to pass away if the other passes. I can only imagine how hard it must have been for you. I have 4 cats and 2 of them are around 13. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy a few more good years with them. Go adopt yourself a couple of kitties from the pound, it will make you feel better knowing that you saved them and that you can give them the love and caring they need to live happy lives.
It was really, really difficult for me to lose them both so close together, especially after having had them for so long (I got Tribble when I was in H.S.!). It's been 2 years now, but I still haven't been able to bring myself to get new kittens yet. [img]confused.gif[/img]
